does anyone know if there’s a site that shows bead work with wire or sells jewelry findings?

jewelry hobby
greenheadchick asked:

I am just learning beading for a hobby and the books that explain everything are all the way from l0 to 20 dollars and this doesn’t fit into my budget. If anyone could copy a few pages and send them to me I would be glad to pay for postage and such and copying. This is a good hobby when you can’t work and it passes the time of day, maybe someday I can sell a little something to get price of beads back, right now I am getting old necklaces from the thrift shop and tearing them apart for the beads, but it’s working! Thanks for any help.

  • Laura:

Try this site, which specializes in jewelry-making supplies:

And it has a large section on projects, with instructions and great photos:

Fie Mountain Gems and Beads is great. You can request a free catalog.
