How can i produce chinese jade seeds?

Thealoexpert asked:

I bought a mature chinese jade tree at wal-mart and it had white blooms, do i need to polinate it so it can produce seeds or is it able to produce seeds on its own, and how will i know if seeds are growing? I live in canada, im in zone 5.

There are many comments and quite a bit of information about jade plants on this site:

No seeds, propagation is done through cuttings. When I lived in southern California, we had a row of jade growing along the southside of the house. It was self propagating from the roots and grew like a weed.
