The five remaining acts join Graham Norton and perform for the chance to represent the UK at the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest.
All five want to sing the new song composed specially by Andrew Lloyd Webber, but another must leave the competition.

Yes, because you’ve HEARD me sing, haven’t you? You lot’re telling me not to judge her and be mean because I think that her voice isn’t good enough to win this competition, then you make out that I must therefore be jealous. Constructive criticism isn’t a bad thing; deal with it.

She rushed the opening phrase – a bit of nerves. But she sings powerfully and well in tune – which .. erm … ahem … “Gemini” ..
It was a very good performance overall.
Anyway, this year, 50% of the vote goes to professional musicians on each country’s jury. A performance like that would stand a chance of picking up points even if nobody else in Europe likes us enough to vote for her.

We can’t all rely on the Azerbaijan giving us 12 points! It’s the Eurovision SONG contest. Nothing, not even ice skating and fireworks will take that away.

This is just a cover song of Christina Aguilera’s. They are doing cover songs until the last week when we get to choose the actual Eurovision songs, so I wouldn’t dismiss us yet!
Brilliant! This was a difficult song to cover and she did hit a couple of bum notes.
Those saying that she can’t sing, can’t be hearing the same thing I am hearing. There would be few top artists from anywhere across Europe who could hold some of the notes she did.
I can’t wait till we hear the actual ESC songs in 2 weeks time!
I think this year we’re taking it seriously, which is good; BUT I fear that if we aren’t in the top 15, the BBC will pull out forever, like Italy did in 97!
So what do we get if we win eurovision?…..NOTHING and we wont win anyway because its all rigged and who really cares that much about it.

That isn’t the British song, it is by Christina Aguilera. But hopefully she will be representing the UK. Why what do you think about her? If you look at her performance from week 1 I think it is a lot more eurovisiony.
