Before written history in a land known as Siam (or Thailand now) there was a legend that claimed the following:
Two monks gathered under a tree in prayer, searching for answers to their meek lifestyles. In a rustling of brush nearby, an ivory white elehant with jade tusks appeared to them. Thinking he was still deep in meditation, one monk spoke out, “Truly this is a sign of what is yet to be.” But when his partner responded, he knew this was real. “This is a sign from greater powers that our existence will have meaning.”
Simultaneously, one monk touched the elephant’s side as the other touched one of the tusks. One monk turned to pure ivory, and the other turned to jade where they stood.
I can captivate the reader, but none of this is true.
